Since the beginning of the 80th the APM-Software GmbH is a company for development and marketing in schedule systems for planning and control the batch workload in IT data centers.

Since 1991 the company name is APM-Software GmbH located in Hamburg. Nevertheless the company name is our mission. APM symbolize the solution of Automated Production Management in IT service centers

till the middle of the 90th HS5000-APM was the main product on mainframe platforms like zOS-MVS, VM/VSE, BS2000 and OS/400. This product was very successful on the market with nearly 200 installations in germany and the european area.
with the beginning of the client/server century the product APX/Host was an interim solution. The batch workload of midrange computers was submitted from the mainframe scheduler system. All existing scheduler systems on market (HS5000-APM, but also e.g. OPC or CA7) are able to work in cooperation with this tool to serve the decentralized platforms – Unix, Windows, SAP R/3 etc.
since 1996 APX/PCC -Cross Platform Scheduling – ist the strategic product of the company. This modern and rubust system plans and controls the business processes of all IT platforms. It is very flexible to fit an existing infrastructure.
